DIRECT HIT
On Tuesday July 13, 2004 at 2:41 P.M. Parsons Company, Inc. was hit full-force by an
F4-class tornado. Winds in excess of 240 miles per hour brought down every building
and scattered debris for miles. All 150 people survived without injury, thanks to early
warning, and to the three storm shelters in which they took refuge.
THANKS
The employees of Parsons Company wish to express their sincere gratitude to all the
individuals and companies who have provided assistance in so many ways. Your help
has enabled us to make progress more quickly, and your thoughtfulness has made a very
difficult situation bearable.
PRODUCTION
Finished product that was salvaged has been shipped to customers. We have now
established temporary production operations in Peoria using machine tools we salvaged
from the w-reckage. We will continue to produce parts for our customers, on a limited basis,
until our facility is rebuilt.
REBUILDING
Cleanup of the site is complete and Parsons is now in the process of rebuilding.
Buildings are already being erected and should be closed in before winter. We are
working diligently to quickly engineer and build a first-class facility that w ill meet the
needs of our customers.
